Drawing the unseen

Each piece begins with observation and ends with expression. Here are some of my favorite works from recent years.

About the Artist

The story behind the strokes

I'm Ankit Kumar, a passionate artist and YouTube creator. My journey started with a simple sketchbook and an obsession with capturing the world around me through graphite and ink.

I've been documenting my creative process on YouTube, sharing tutorials, speed-draws, and deep dives into classical drawing techniques. What started as a passion project has grown into a community of fellow art enthusiasts who share the love of sketching.

I believe that drawing is the most intimate form of seeing. Every line is a decision, every shadow a conversation with light.

Creative Process

From blank page to final frame

A glimpse into how each artwork and YouTube video comes together.

01

Observe

Every drawing begins with seeing. I study my subject deeply, noting the interplay of light, texture, and form before my pencil ever touches paper.

02

Sketch

Loose, gestural marks lay the foundation. This is where intuition meets intention, capturing the essence and energy of the subject.

03

Refine

Layer by layer, the drawing comes alive. I build depth through value, contrast, and meticulous attention to detail.

04

Share

The finished piece and its entire journey find a home on YouTube, where the process becomes a story others can learn from.
